Part of my role as a health advocate involves education. With my teaching background I am able to facilitate interactive talks and presentations for a wide variety of audiences and professions including, teachers, families, community groups and allied health professionals to name a few.
Previously I have presented:

staff training on children's well-being promoting Experiential Education based on the work of Dr Ferre Laevers

a paper at a Reflect Respect Relate (RRR) conference around children's well-being and involvement

staff training on guiding children's behaviour promoting the principles of a Guidance Approach based on the work of Dr Louise Porter

a paper at the 15th Annual Conference of the Australian Research in Early Childhood Education (a.r.e.c.e) for the Faculty of Education, Monash University, Peninsula Campus regarding cycles of professional change and principles of adult learning.
I have also been involved in:

promoting healthy eating among children and adolescents through the Women's and Children's Hospital
